Happy Almost Spring! I hope you all had a loverly Valentine’s Day. I spent mine with my cats. The Soulmate was out of town on a job and my Sweet Baby Boy not only works hours that aren’t compatible with most folk’s schedules (he’s a chef), but has a honey he is getting very serious about, so Mom’s no longer at the top of the list (like a mother would be on this particular holiday, anyway). But, hey, I’m a new-age independent woman. I went to Petco and bought Boo a set of leopard-skin-and-feathers flip toys, Mojo a couple of crinkle balls and both of them a catnip pillow to fight over. And the Boys obligingly entertained me for hours. The following Saturday the mate and I went downtown to celebrate our delayed Valentine’s Day. It was a wonderfully sunny afternoon and we cruised around Belltown then hiked up to Capital Hill to this great little café called Crave. Not much to look at and not in the greatest neighborhood but killer food. But enough about me—it’s Sneak Peek time! Oh, I guess that still is about me. But not me me—this is about something bigger, something better. THE BOOK!!! I’m getting so excited about Coming Undone and I want to give you all a little taste so you, too, can be as anxious as I am for it to hit the shelves. What, you thought I wanted to wait for it all by my lonesome? Snort. Hey, if I’m going to pace in front of the calendar, mentally exhorting those months to fly by, I’m hoping for a little company. Won’t you join me?
