Am I the only one who found the weeks between Thanksgiving and today disappearing in a red-hot blur? My eating and work habits deteriorated during this time, and I'm trying to get myself back on track. I've been up to my eyeballs in vegetables, line edits, fish, cover art, updating content for my webpage and working out the details of a new contract. Then in my free time (ha!) I'm haltingly limping my way through my proposal for Max's story (Book Two) in my new Razor Bay/Bradshaw Brothers series. But we all occasionally have to take a little break, have a little fun, am I right? I, for one, am getting excited about That Thing Called Love, the first in the series. And yep, I know its release is still six months out. But that's the purpose of my newzletter, becaaaause... Ta Da! I have a sneak peek into chapter 9 for you, plus a photo of its setting, which I love, love, love. The setting that is-- my photography skills, unlike Jake Bradshaw's, the hero of That Thing Called Love and photographer extraordinaire, tend to be all over the place. I placed the fictitious resort town of Razor Bay on Hood Canal, an area I've spent a good part of my life in, and set The Brothers Inn, which my heroine Jenny Salazar runs, on the property my folks bought back when I was just a wee lassie. So check it out, me pretties. And come join me on facebook for more photos of the area, possible models for the heroes, and my usual off-brand assortment of questions and commentary. Until then, stay warm and read copiously. ~ Susan As always, I'd love it if you'd join me on Facebook. http://www.facebook.com/SusanAndersenFanPage
